This tea has a refined, mature taste of bittersweet raw cacao with peppery bergamot notes. I shared it with a friend who drinks English Breakfast Tea and she said she’d happily switch over. The slight astringency around the edges gives the tea a nice structure that gets your attention, along with the active, buzzy energy.
