Description
Juicy, honey-sweet, elegant and with a hint of smokiness, this tea carries the qualities I look for in a nice red tea. Uplifting but not too stimulating. Bright and patient.
I’d previously only enjoyed Sheng Puerh from Wu Liang mountain, and was pleasantly surprised to discover this wonderful Dian Hong or Red Tea. The aroma opens the senses, leading to a slightly smoky, roasted tea with honey notes. The expert processing comes through in the balance of robust and delicate flavors. The Wu Liang Mountains are home to some of the highest altitude tea gardens in existence.
