Flavors of spring water, squash blossoms, green beans, and a tiny hint of citrus peel flavor on the back of the tongue. Forest Lamp is perfect for when you want an earthy but lighter shou in the warmer months. Uplifting, giddy but relaxed energy that invites a deep breath and a smile. This tea opens slowly and you want to drink it all afternoon. Its claim to fame is the pervasive wonderful yang qi that’s great for summer.
I named this tea Forest Lamp because it shines like a light in the darkness. While we are looking for the way, the way is also looking for us. While we are aware of the forest, the forest is also aware of us, and in the moment of this recognition, the Lamp lights up.
